I am a researcher, educator, and dance writer based in New York and Toronto. I am a current SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow in English at York University. I am a US area editor at Asian Diasporic Visual Cultures of the Americas (ADVA) journal and a co-chair of the Performance working group at the Cultural Studies Association.

I hold a PhD and MA in Culture and Performance from UCLA and a BA Honours in English Literature and World Cinema Studies from McGill University.
