I am a researcher, educator, and arts writer based between St. Louis, MO and Brooklyn, NY.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow in American Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. I also serve as US area editor of Asian Diasporic Visual Cultures of the Americas (ADVA) journal and as co-chair of the Performance working group at the Cultural Studies Association. Previously, I was a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow in English at York University (Toronto, Canada)

I received my PhD and MA in Culture and Performance from UCLA and a BA Honours in English Literature and World Cinema Studies from McGill University.
